Grid connection consent (DSO)

This release reviews the EU baseline plus national overlays for Germany and France.

National overlay
VDE-AR-N 4100:2026-04 (in force 2026-04-01; the 2019-04 edition stays usable through 2027-03-31) governs grid connections - each DSO's TAB makes it binding in its grid area and may set stricter limits.

Advisory guidance

For German grid connections above 12 kVA, the designer should check the DSO's TAB application of VDE-AR-N 4100 for consent and active-power control requirements - per-DSO values apply and should be confirmed.
