Décret n° 2014-1302 (droit à la prise) gives occupants of multi-dwelling buildings a right to install a charge point at their parking space - French private-residential context (no EU baseline for occupant installation rights).

Advisory guidance

For private residential charging in multi-dwelling buildings, the designer should review the 'droit à la prise' framework implemented by décret n° 2014-1302: occupants may request the installation of a dedicated EV charging point at their parking space, with the costs and governance rules set out in the framework.
